Fall registration open at Salt Lake seminary

Davis County residents are invited to register for fall classes at the Salt Lake Theological Seminar. Clas-ses begin Aug. 30 and run through Dec. 17.
Undergraduate classes being offered include:
-New Testament Survey I:The Gospel and the Acts, taught by Dr. James Wake-field;
-Biblical Interpretation: Ears that Hear, taught by Amber Warhurst;
-History of Christianity I: Early and Medieval Christian History, taught by Ron Huggins;
-Old Testament Survey I: TheLaw and the History of Israel, taught by Tom McClenahan; and
-Theology I:TheGod We Love, the Jesus We Believe, taught by Bill Heersink.
Master of divinity and master of arts courses will also be offered, as will two youth and family ministry intensive courses, two Biblical languages courses, two elective courses and two doctor of ministry intensive courses.
Among those classes are: the Doctrine of God, the Doctrine of Christ, pastoral care and ethical concerns and Grace-centered Communications.
The Salt Lake Theological Seminary is an evangelical Protestant graduate school committed to equipping men and women for Christian leadership.
The school, located at 699 E. SouthTemple in Salt Lake City, began in the 1980s, and has grown through the years.
It is the only Christian seminary in Utah. Currently it has a faculty of 14 teachers and professors.
