Barton Allen Wiggins, born Sept. 9, 1914, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a life-long resident of Bountiful, will celebrate his 90th birthday this year. A celebration in his honor will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at an open house from 2-4 p.m. at the Bountiful House Assisted Living Center, 79 East Center Street, Bountiful.
"Bart" or "Wig," as many may know him, moved to the Bountiful area in 1948 and worked for the Salt Lake Stock Yards.
After his retirement he became a brand inspector for the state of Utah where he met many wonderful friends.
He married Charlotte Elaine Johnson April 21, 1941, in Arco, Idaho, later solemnized in the Bountiful LDS Temple. (She passed away March of 1998). They had two children, V. Bruce (Janie), Pocatello, Idaho, and Sandra (Steven), Bountiful, 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
We hope all his friends will join him in this casual celebration of 90 wonderful years (no gifts, please).
