WX summer football
Summer 2005 football camp will be held July 22 and 23 at Woods Cross High School.
Camp will be divided into age groups from 8 years of age to 15 and older. Training will be given on speed and agility as well as general football skills.
Guest speakers and coaches include former University of Utah football players Pierre Jones and Shrieff Shaw, former Miami Dolphin Juan Johnson and many more.
Pre-registration cost of $30 can be paid at the WX little league sign-ups Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or can be paid to the order of Football Camp @ Woods Cross, Pierre Jones, 162 West 200 North Bountiful, UT 84010.
Day of registration cost is $40. For more information, contact Pierre Jones at 604-2904.
Davis High donors needed
Davis High School has plans to renovate bleachers, concession stands, restrooms, press box and other things on its football field. Donors are needed. Various contribution levels are available. For more information, call Sherm Hoskins at 451-2129 or Dave Leo at 546-3148.
WX volleyball
Woods Cross High School will be holding volleyball tryouts on August 8th & 9th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m in the main gymnasium. Both sessions are mandatory.
Practice will begin August 10th at 9 a.m. and continue until school starts.
Learn to ice skate
Bountiful City Recreation offers ice skating lessons year round. Lessons are held twice a week for three weeks. The fees are $32 for youth and adults. For more information call 298-6220.
