Whitney is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John N. Herrod. She will graduate from BYU with a degree in biology this semester.
Blain is the son of Jim and Teri Sowby. He graduated from Woods Cross High School in 2002. He served in the Paraguay Asuncion North Mission.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will make their home in Provo where they will continue their education at BYU.
