NORTH SALT LAKE -- Karleen Argyle Winegar, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend returned to her Heavenly Home, Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005.

Karleen was born June 14, 1926 to Leland Mann Argyle and Columbia Loveland in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the oldest of four daughters.

She spent a happy childhood in West Bountiful. She graduated from Davis High. She worked at Farmer's State Bank before her marriage. She is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions of service in the church and served a mission to the Hawaiian Islands with her husband.

Karleen married Richard T. Winegar on June 19, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Karleen and Dick spent their lives in the grocery business. She founded Karleen's Bridal Gift Shop in Centerville, Utah.

Karleen enjoyed her family the most. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren held the most prominent position in her heart and she lived a life totally devoted the them.

Karleen's hobbies were painting, sewing, reading, golfing, traveling, and cooking. She loved people and was a friend to all.

Dick and Karleen had a marriage that could best be described as one of unwavering devotion to one another. They were most often seen together, sharing in all of lifeÇs experiences.

She loved and touched many in her life. We were blessed by her faith, optimism, determination, and unconditional love.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Dick Winegar, their children, Linda (Marv) Blosch of Bountiful, Lee R (Alana) Winegar of West Bountiful, LuAnn Wallin of Salt Lake City, Kent A. (fiancÈ, Sandi) Winegar of Huntsville, sisters: Doris Keith, LaVinia (Moreno) Robins and Donna (Glenn) Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the Foxhill LDS Ward Chapel, 200 South Eagle Ridge Blvd., North Salt Lake, Utah. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund.
