Utah House to hold children's class
KAYSVILLE -- As part of its Saturday morning gardening Series, Utah House will have a gardening class entitled, "Gardening with Children" Saturday, June 25, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
The class is designed to help people learn how to involve children in gardening with fun themes, giant varieties and unusual plants. It promises to help kids to learn to love vegetables and gardening.
The class will take place at 920 South 50 West in Kaysville. The cost is $5.00.
Bountiful Handcart Days exhibit opens
BOUNTIFUL -- The Bountiful Handcart Days Arts and Crafts exhibit opened June 22 at the Bountiful/Davis Arts Center.
The exhibit, which will run until July 23, features many different types of art.
The art categories are painting, drawing, ceramic, sculpture, metal work, woodwork, original design quilting and photography. Craft work categories are needlework, quilts from a pattern, woodwork and china painting.
Bird center offers nature/bird walks
LAYTON -- The Layton Wild Bird Center will soon begin weekly, free nature/bird walks. During the walks, which are led by WBC staff or other local experts, those participating will discuss birds, mammals, flowers, butterflies and other things in nature.

DATC to host multi-cultural festival
