OGDEN -- The Bountiful Braves lacrosse team took another step toward a perfect season Monday as they pounded Bonneville, 15-3. The Braves scored first with Tim Forsgren firing off a shot just minutes into the game. After that, the flood gates were open and the Braves never looked back. Zach Jordan and Mike Fabrizio led the assault with four goals each while Alec Taggert had three. Forsgren, Christian Taylor, Brent Carlson, and Tyler Cheney picked up one goal each. Braves goalie Patrick Waite remained perfect on the season protecting the net. The Braves played Park City after deadline Wednesday. A win over the Miners would give the Braves an undefeated season, the state's no. 1 ranking and top seed throughout the state tournament.
