NSL seeks venue change in ongoing land dispute

NORTH SALT LAKE -- North Salt Lake filed a motion Friday to change the venue from Salt Lake to Davis County in the legal battle between the cities. In the waiting game, both parties are gearing up for a court case which will not take place for several months. "We're waiting for Rocky and his council. They have a week to respond to our motion to have the venue changed," said Brent Hatch the North Salt Lake attorney over the case. "Salt Lake City also has several weeks to respond to our motion to dismiss their motion to dismiss a disconnection between North Salt Lake and Salt Lake County."

There is still a possibility they will come to an agreement before the case goes to court.
