Lady Vikes alive with win

SALT LAKE CITY -- Viewmont ace Shelbi Tyteca continued her tear in the state softball tournament Tuesday.The Viking cranked a two-run homer in the top of the first inning and the Vikings never looked back as they knocked Hunter out of the tournament, 6-4. Tyteca also picked up the win for Viewmont which remained alive in the one-loss bracket of the 5A tournament. Viewmont raced out to a 6-1 lead until Hunter's bats came alive in the bottom of the seventh where three runs were scored.
