Davis County residents are invited to sign up for myriad classes, from those dealing with the Old Testament to Revelation, the final book of the New Testament. In addition to regular courses, two workshops will be held. In the realm of Bible study, courses will be offered this quarter in: The Poetry and Prophets of Israel, The Epistles and Revelation, The Psalms: The Language of the Heart, Revelation: All Weather Worship at the Throne, and James, Timothy and Titus: Models for Leadership.
Those interested in taking classes in theology and history may take classes on The Spirit Who Gives Life, History of Christianity II, Introduction to Celtic Theology and Mission and Imagination and Christian Thought: Human Creativity in Theology and Ministry.
In the area of ministry development, classes will be offered in Forgiven and Forgiving: The Atonement of Christ and the Practice of Reconciliation, Vocation, Ministry and Spirituality, Principles and Practices of Worship, Church Heritage and Polity, Life in the Church, principles and practices of Leadership, Tools for Christian Leadership and Bridges: Helping Mormons Discover God's Grace.
A basic course in Greek and Hebrew for the English reader and Introduction to Biblical Hebrew II will be offered.
Intensive format classes will be offered in Biblical and Theological Foundations of Youth and Family Ministry, Cross-cultural Hermeneutics, and an independent study.
The workshops are Bridges: Helping Mormons Discover God's Grace and WorshipAlive.
