Sorting food is a wonderful service project for families or other groups, according to food pantry co-director Barbara Wolfe. For those who look at such projects as a lot of work, she encourages to think of it "as conversation, camaraderie and fun." Those who would like to help, should call Wolfe, at 599-6586.
Also, the pantry needs volunteers to help at the front counter to serve patrons from Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
