Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 24 and must be residents of Kaysville or Fruit Heights.
The 13 to 16-year-olds will compete by writing a two-page essay on why they want to be the Outstanding Teen of Kaysville-Fruit Heights. From this essay, contestants may be called in for interviews or talent tryouts.
Young women ages 17-24 are eligible to compete for the title of Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights, a preliminary to the Miss Utah and Miss America pageants.
The orientation for the Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights pageant will be held on Aug. 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fruit Heights City Building.
