LAYTON -- The Davis Chamber of Commerce will have their monthly member luncheon with the focus on health and wellness in the workplace in Layton May 17. Participants can find out how their company can not only save money, but decrease stress, improve depression and anxiety, increase good working relationships and lower absenteeism.

Fitness Expert Dee Dee Yorgason of "Performax Gyms" will be the featured speaker. She has been a personal trainer for the Dr. Phil Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge and Channel 2 News Healthy Living Report Trainer, and she is a group fitness instructor. She is currently the General Manager of Performax Gyms and is fulfilling her passion for children's health by leading the 4-H Fit Factor for Hill Air Force Base.

The event will also feature Dr. Ben Betteridge, Danielle Theobold and Scott Call of Intermountain Health Care - Layton.

"The Davis Chamber Monthly Focus Program, which began this month with Health and Wellness, is designed to point out how one sector of local business interacts and benefits all other sectors of the community," said John Pitt, President and CEO of the Davis Chamber of Commerce.

The luncheon will be Thursday, May 17 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Castlebrook Reception Center, 930 West Antelope Drive in Layton. The charge is $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Members.
