BOUNTIFUL -- The Bountiful Lions Club is the proud sponsor of a new Venture Scout Crew, which is a club open to young women and young men, ages 16-18.

The club is currently involved in a beginning rock climbing class and beginning shooting class.

Due to its efforts with and sponsorship of the Venture Scout Crew, as well as other local clubs, the Lions Club was recently recognized and thanked by the National Boy Scouts of America.

Carl Page, president elect of the Bountiful Lions Club, was acknowledged for volunteering his time and talents to start many new groups, including running the Venture Scout Crew.
