Halloween fun for Davis kids

DAVIS COUNTY -- Several Davis County schools will be celebrating the season by holding fall and Halloween carnivals this week.

Burton Elementary PTA will hold its annual fall Halloween carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Davis High. Contact Principal Sharolyn Knudsen at 402-3150 for more information.

Fourth-grade students at Bountiful's Oak Hills Elementary are having grandparents and senior citizens join them to paint a pumpkin at 9:15 a.m. Contact Janet Glass at 402-1682 for more information.

Bountiful's Holbrook Elementary PTA will host its fall carnival from 5 to 8 p.m. Students can dress in Halloween costumes to enjoy the games and activities. Contact Joy Brown at 402-1450 for more information.

Layton's Vae View Elementary PTA will host its annual fall carnival from noon to 4 p.m. Contact Principal Eric Holmes at 402-2800 for more information.
