Alice Wanita Christensen Jensen, 88 years old, passed away on Jan. 28, 2006. She was born Nov. 19, 1917, in Turner, Idaho, to Orson and Anna Christensen. She was married to Ned LaVon Jensen in the Salt Lake Temple. Ned preceded her in death 35 years ago. Her youngest son, Scott, also passed away in May 2005. Their reunion will be sweet and tender. She was mother of five children: David Ned (Carol) San Ramon, Calif., Elizabeth Ann (Jerry) Harston Seven Hills, Ohio, Todd Douglas (LuAnn) Providence, Utah, Chris Neil (Evonne) Syracuse, Utah, and Scott Alan. Special grandmother to 21 children and a great-grandmother to 33 children.

Her life included years of church service, service to family, friends and co-workers. She loved oil painting, sewing and cooking. Alice was the oldest of eight children and is survived by sister Bernice and brothers Orson and Ned.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Val Verda Stake Center on 2600 South and 500 W. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, and 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. preceding the funeral at the stake center.
