Rex Ellis Winegar was born to Karl Grant Winegar and Norma Ellis on Jan. 2, 1950. On April 2, 2004, he gave up his valiant fight with the deadly killer Melenoma.
He never gave up hope. He married his true love Shauna in 1980. He is survived by his wife, mother, Norma Winegar and sisters, Terry Dunn and Karleen Lamborn (Ed), and three beautiful Shelties. Mother-in-law, Shirley West, Father-in-law Jean (Rose) West. Shauna's wonderful brother and sister, David (Donna) West, Carol (Dale Sweat) and their loved ones. Rex had a special love for Stepsons Shawn and Brian Soderquist and grandsons Monte and Talon Soderquist. He worked many years as a Ready Mix driver. Preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
We love you Rex and will miss you, "Sygen," til we meet again.
Graveside services were Monday, April 5, 2004, 2:00 p.m., Lakeview Memorial Park. Prior to graveside services family and friends may call 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Mortuary, 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
