South Davis Recreation District is now registering for Jr. Jazz Basketball. The cost for the elementary age division, third through sixth grades, will be $45. There is also a Super Competitive League being offered for fifth through ninth grades. Players must sign up as a team, and registration will be limited to the first eight teams. The cost will be $400 per team.

Registration for both leagues runs Aug. 23 - Sept. 16 at Bountiful City Hall downstairs, 795 S. 100 East, Bountiful.

Youth volleyball

Farmington City is holding youth volleyball classes for those interested in learning more about the game. Program teaches the basic skills needed to play and understand volleyball.

Classes begin Saturday, Sept. 23, and last for seven weeks. Fee is $35 and classes are for ages 9-14.

Girls competitive basketball

Farmington City is holding a girls competitive basketball league for junior high ages. Registration is Sept. 25-29. There will be seven games, and cost is $275 per team. Games begin Oct. 31 at Farmington Junior High.

Yoga

Farmington City is holding yoga classes to teach the basics of yoga. Registration has begun, and ends Dec. 31. Classes are held every Thursday from 8:30-9:30 p.m. at the conference room in the Community Arts Center basement located at 120 S. Main Street in Farmington. Fee is $30 and is for ages 15 and up.
