Cindy Sheehan's outcry is simply politically motivated hatred. It seems opportune that her son died in Iraq. Ms. Sheehan claims to be against war. In truth, she is simply against George W. Bush. Please, let's all remember, the conflict in Iraq really isn't a war. It's a minor strike against one seed-bed which grew the miscreants who attacked the United States in 1993 and again in 2001. I consider George Bush a liberal in most of his activities, but to blame this war solely on him is ridiculous. If Ms. Sheehan were truly against the war, she would raise her voice against not only President Bush, but also against Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Tony Blair. She would leave her Crawford, Texas, vigil when the President returns to Washington and then carry her battle to the very doorsteps of all the above who really "got us into this war." Yes, George Bush was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident; but, his gasoline was paid for by the Clintons, the tires were supplied by Messrs. Kerry and Kennedy, Tony Blair was riding shotgun and the entire Senate and House readily accepted and approved the same "intelligence" that had been developed over several preceding years.

Ms. Sheehan's current bed-pals belie what she really stands for. MoveOn.org, TrueMajority and Democracy for America have never stood for anything other than hatred of America. They were organized in an attempt to destroy George Bush and have no other reason for their existence. They espouse the position that all evil is the result of American misdeeds. With their vast financial resources they have now found in Cindy Sheehan a willing sponge into which they can cast some of their cash in further attempting to undo their two mortal enemies; George Bush and the United States.

The reaction of her family probably says more about what she really is than does her current fickle group of new-found wealthy friends. Her husband filed for divorce. The majority of their extended family continue to support both the President and the continuation of Ameri-can military presence in Iraq until such time as the Iraqi people can manage their own affairs. She proclaims that she and the family have always been on opposite sides of the political fence. Now she just has a larger megaphone. When Jane Fonda and Michael Moore arrive in Crawford you can rest assured that Ms. Sheehan will have gotten the attention she really seeks. Until then, she is just another flash in the pan who hopefully won't do too much damage before she fades from media view.
