Women's local golf league shines

FRUIT HEIGHTS -- Golfers from the Davis Park 18-hole Women's League swung to victory in the league's tournament on April 24. The tournament was divided into three flights, according to degree of handicap. First- place winner of A Flight was Cindy Branch with a score of 64. Second place went to both Kathy Allen Close and Jean Geisler, who tied at 69. First-place winner of B Flight was Donna McAllister, who scored 68. Second place went to LaRayne Hulet, who scored a 68. First-place winner of C Flight was Carolyn Giles with a score of 60. The second-place winner was Lucille Nelson, who scored 67.
