In response to the letter Marijuana a Widespread problem, I don't know if legalizing marijuana would be the right thing to do or not. But let's collect the facts and then make the decision. The letter you published was full of conjecture and hype. Let's look at some facts: In the Netherlands where marijuana use is essentially legal, teen use of the drug is 28 percent but in the United States it is 41 percent. This comes form a survey of 110,000 teens in europe and the U.S. that was reported to the World Health Organization in Stockholm. From a religious standpoint whose plan was it to force us to obey and whose was it to allow us free agency?
