Joining the chamber this year are sponsors Norbest, Barnes Banking and Xcel Spa & Fitness. In fact, the run will start out from Xcel's location at 250 W. 1500 West in Bountiful at 9 a.m.
Those interested in participating can pre-register for $13 (includes shirt) through Nov. 12. The day-of-the-race registration fee is $15.
But much more than fun will be on the agenda.
As in the past, the event seeks to brighten the Thanksgiving season for needy families by drawing attention to its turkey sponsorship program. For each $20 donation, a Davis County family will receive a Norbest turkey certificate good for up to a 14-pound turkey.
