We have an opportunity to make our vote count for us right here in Davis County. When we vote YES for the RAP referendum we vote to provide funds for recreation, arts and parks right here in our neighborhoods. From every $10 spent in Davis County one penny will go into the RAP fund. These funds will be divided among our communities based on population, and can then be used to maintain and strengthen the quality of life for everyone.

I'm especially excited about the impact this will have on the arts in our area. Passing the RAP means that programs offered by the Bountiful Davis Arts Center and other art centers in Davis County will continue to benefit us and our children. Maya Angelou says, "We need art to live fully and to grow healthy. Without it we are dry husks drifting aimlessly on every ill wind, our futures are without promise and our present without grace." Voting yes on the RAP referendum helps ensure our future with promise and present with grace right here in our hometowns.
