1931-2012



Barbara Burningham Henroid, 80, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her home in Bountiful, Utah.

If you are reading this obituary then you know I have gone to meet the love of my life, Gene, my better half. He died April 21, 2003.

I was born to Cliff Burningham and Orella Simmons in Bountiful, Utah February 1, 1931. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A very lucky lady, wouldn’t you say? Out of our marriage came three beautiful children, Judi and Mike who we loved more than anything in the world. I have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I was employed by Dr. Joseph Gailey as office manager for many years. I liked to crochet and made many afghans for my family and friends. I also liked to read. Thanks to my sister, Jerry, for all the weekend phone calls. Thanks to all my neighbors for being such great friends.

Survived by my children, Judi (Dana) Jones, Magna, Mike (Jackie) Henroid, Woods Cross; my sister, Jerry (John) Kilpack, Hurricane; special cousin and best friend, Lois Smith, Bountiful. Last but not least is a special group who I loved very much -— grandchildren, Jason, Raquel, Kory, Danielle, Jordan; great-grandchildren (our little dolls) Lilly and Rachel.

The family wishes to thank Mom’s neighbors and friends for the care and love they gave her during her time of need.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
