Michael Dunn was treated by emergency personnel after police received a 911 call just after 11 p.m. Public Information Officer Edward Biehler said medical crews were unable to resuscitate Dunn and he died shortly after.
According to Biehler's press release, Bountiful officers located Shannon Sander nearby who is reportedly Dunn's girlfriend. She was detained and question, and allegedly admitted that she stabbed Dunn.
Sander was arrested and booked on a first degree felony of homicide in the Davis County Jail.
