LAYTON — “How to Survive in Tough Times” is the theme for the March 8 Women in Business luncheon.

It will be will held at 11:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Women’s Center at Davis Hospital in Layton.

Motivational speaker Meg Johnson will be the speaker. She fell off a cliff and broke her neck in 2004, and spent four months in the hospital recovering from multiple injuries and returned home without the use of her legs, back, stomach or bands.

A full quadriplegic, the wheelchair-bound woman refuses to sit still.

Since being paralyzed, Meg has competed at the national Ms. Wheelchair America pageant in New York, winning the Spirit Award; founded and directs Ms. Wheelchair Utah, instituted a service outreach program; and authored several books.
