BOUNTIFUL — Macy’s is partnering with the Bountiful Community Food Pantry in what should be a win-win.

A pre-grand opening of the Salt Lake City Creek Center store will be offered Saturday, March 12.

Those purchasing a Charity Shopping Day ticket for $5 will have access to special discounts and drawings throughout the day.

Many of these discounts are reportedly deeper than those Macy’s is offering at their public grand opening five days later.

Each person will need their own ticket to get in. Proceeds benefit the food pantry and other local charities.

Tickets are available by visiting the pantry any weekday and Saturday before noon or Tuesday-Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Checks may also be mailed to the pantry at 480 E. 150 North, Bountiful, UT 84010.
