ACCORDING TO a representative from the Department of Workforce Services, building permits have started to notch upward.
That was the message to the Davis Unified Economic Development group, Tuesday, from John Mathews. He is Northern Utah Regional Economist for the Department of Workforce Services.
“There is a significant difference between this recession and the dot com recession of 2000-2001,” he said.
