HILL AFB — The chief of the U.S. Air Force got an “up close and personal” look at Davis County’s largest employer Monday.

Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley saw the base’s industrial, operational and training capabilities.

He was hosted by three members of Utah’s congressional delegation: Senators Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee, and Rep. Rob Bishop.

“The secretary’s visit today was an opportunity to showcase Hill’s efficiency and its central role to our nation’s defense,” Hatch said.
