WOODS CROSS — These are the words Ben Kjar used to sum up his fourth place finish at the United States Olympic Wrestling Trials in Iowa, City, Iowa.

“I am definitely going to train for the 2016 Brazil Games. I definitely came here to win a spot on the London team and I came very close. Now it’s back to work for the next Olympics and the World Championships.”

Don’t feel bad for Kjar, though; as he pointed out, the entire experience of wrestling in the Olympics remains very much alive as he now prepares for the 2016 Games.

Each Olympic off-year there is a World Wrestling Championship held. Kjar has his sights already set on next year while also preparing the next generation for wrestlers at his gym, Kingdom Klub in Woods Cross.
