“He’s been an excellent member of our police department,” said Mayor Steve Hiatt. “He’s passionate about police service and has served the citizens of Kaysville with dignity and passion and we wish him well in his well-earned retirement.”
Lee, who turns 63 in August, said his wife has already retired and the two are looking forward to having more time to do things together.
“It’s been a good career,” he said. “It’s a good city to work for and the good thing about police work is it’s never the same. Everything changes on a daily basis.”
