1949-2012
Our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and friend, Randy Walter Frazier, passed away on April 23,2012 after a valiant battle with cancer, at the San Francisco Calif. V.A. Medical Center.
Randy was born July 26, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack H. Frazier and Fawn J. Rampton Frazier Beesley.
Randy grew up in Farmington, Utah and attended Davis High School in Kaysville Utah.
Randy was called to serve his country in Viet Nam, and was honorably discharged at the end of his tour.
Randy is survived by his mother, Fawn Beesley, his brother Tim (Julie) Frazier, brother Brian (Carolyn) Frazier, sister Jill (Scott) Silverthorn, sister Debra Hernandez, and many nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved.
Randy was an exceptional artist, and spent many hours painting, and creating pen and ink sketches.
Randy had a great love for his home town of Farmington, and had special memories of the town and the wonderful friends that he knew and grew up with there.
He requested that he be laid to rest in the Farmington Cemetery, in the town that he always felt was his home.
Randy lived in San Francisco for many years before his passing. He did volunteer work during these years with hospice, at a soup kitchen, and as a tour guide on the WWII naval ship Jeremiah O’Brien.
Randy is being honored at a memorial service in California, by those who cared for him at the V.A. Medical Center, on May 17, 2012. He was loved my many people as well as his family.
Grave side services will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Farmington City Cemetery.
The family welcomes anyone who would like to attend.
