1921-2012



Shirley Tomlinson, 90, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Davis Hospital. She was born June 27, 1921 to Earl and Ruby Endsley in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She joined the Navy February 10, 1944 and was discharged honorably August 28, 1945. She married Earl Edward Tomlinson in San Antonio, Texas January 22, 1945.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and after Earl’s death she went on a mission to the Des Moines, Iowa, Mission.

She is survived by her children, Garry Shultz (Janet), Diana Hirschi (Larry), Eddie Tomlinson (June), Mary Lintz (Wes); 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Kaysville City Cemetery. Family and friends may gather Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, UT.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to the LDS Missionary Fund.
