SALT LAKE CITY — Bugman Pest and Lawn Inc.’s owner Raymond Wilson Sr., was back in court Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of unlawful use of a registered pesticide.

Wilson, owner of the Bountiful-based company, and his son, Raymond Wilson Jr., were both in U.S. District Court where Judge Dale Kimball fined the company $600 and ordered 36 months of probation.

Raymond Wilson Jr., entered into a 12-month diversion agreement with the court. In exchange for the agreement, prosecutors will drop four additional charges against him, provided he meets certain conditions, including performing 100 hours of community service and that he not apply any pesticides during the year.

The misdemeanor charge against Raymond Wilson Sr., was for a case unrelated to the one in which two Layton girls died in 2010 of pesticide poisoning.
