KAYSVILLE — The Utah Hotel & Lodging Association, which has offices in Kaysville, has named a new executive director.

Jordan Garn brings three years of experience as a lawyer practicing with a large Salt Lake City law firm where he specialized in government relations and litigation.

Thereafter he founded JG Consulting, a lobbying and political consulting firm. In that capacity Garn represents diverse industries before the Utah State Legislature.

“Jordan brings a unique set of skills that are well-suited to build upon the association’s past success,” said Lance Syrett, UH&LA president.

“I look forward to educating policy-makers about the importance of fostering a political and legal environment that allows hotels to continue to be an engine for economic activity,” Garn said.
