Local woman to head Regence BlueCross

CENTERVILLE —  A Centerville woman has been appointed as president of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah effective June 12.
Jennifer B. Danielson will replace retiring president Bob Hatch, in guiding the health insurance company’s market operation in Utah, according to a press release.
Regence Insurance Services President Jared Short made the announcement last week, saying, “Jennifer has been an important and dynamic member of Regence’s senior Utah team, leading critical business development activities in a complex health care environment 
“Her ability to facilitate collaboration in a rapidly changing industry, coupled with her respected leadership in the community, makes her ideally suited for the role.”
