KAYSVILLE — Wielding hoes and rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows, some 1,000 employees of Lifetime Products of Clearfield coverged on the USU Utah Botanical Center Saturday for a morning of service.
“We just really believe a good community, a good family, a good company has service at heart,” said Richard Hendrickson, company president. “Service does the soul good.”
Service took the form of clearing away dead trees, cleaning up litter along the freeway, planting seeds and pulling garbage from the pond.
Kayaks plied the water for debris that blew in during the December windstorm, according to Hendrickson.
