Deidre is the daughter of Russell and Kami Mahan. She graduated from Viewmont High School and attended Utah Valley University. She works as a dental assistant at Rock Hotel Dental in Farmington.
Riley is the son of Gordon and Rose-Marie Smith of Layton. He is a graduate of Davis High School and is attending Weber State. He served in the Guatemala Retalhuleu Mission and is currently working on the remodeling of the Salt Lake Temple.
Following their honeymoon, the couple will make their home in east Layton.
