BOUNTIFUL — Even Spider-Man can’t stay away from the Bountiful Rotary Club’s annual Coats for Kids Car Show.

The event, which will be coming to Main Street June 15 and Bountiful City Park June 16, gathers more than a hundred classic cars and residents from all over the county for two days of food, games, burnouts, prizes, and things that go fast. This year, Spider-Man, Cinderella, and Salt Lake Bees mascot Bumble will also be on hand for the event, which helps buy cold-weather gear for needy South Davis kids.

“All the money we raise goes to Coats for Kids,” said Chris Simonsen, who helps organize the event. The event itself is free, with funds coming from things such as food sales and contest entries. “There’ll be good food, face painting, and everything from hot rods and classic cars to a flame-throwing truck.”
