With 12 shutouts in 20 games in his final season as a Dart, the senior earned the right to be called MVP of the 5A All-State soccer team, which was announced as recently as late last week.
Of Jensen’s 12 shutouts this season, three came in the 5A state playoffs where he helped to take down Lone Peak, Copper Hills and Brighton with 1-0 scores en route to Davis’ second boys’ soccer title in three seasons. Half of his shutouts also came during region play, which proved to be important thanks to the smaller teams within each region this season.
Other first team representatives include Davis’ Mitch Parkinson, John Taylor and Scott Felsted; and Viewmont’s Jeromy Heward.
