BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful Ridge Golf Course may be tucked away into the hillsides of Bountiful City, but it still remains one of the best kept (and most renowned) local golf courses in the south Davis County area.
As one of the few Utah public golf courses that has been mentioned in Golf Magazine (voted “Best Value Golf Facility” in 2009), the golf course is full of golfing programs and other amenities that make it a hot-spot in the local community.
The course itself is relatively short when compared to other Utah courses, measuring at 6,545 yards total. It has a par of either 71 or 72. The ninth hole, measuring 378 yards from the back tee, is the course’s “signature hole” due to its tough, yet scenic, approach shot.
“It has the water hazard right in front of the green, depending on where the flag is,” said Jason King, Farmington resident. “I’ve played the hole several times and have a hard time getting away with par from time to time.”
