DAVIS COUNTY – A summer full of free music is right at your fingertips.

Organizations all across Davis County are holding their own free summer concert series, featuring performers that are both family friendly and free to see. Make your own schedule depending on the band and venue, or go crazy and try to attend all of them.



Bountiful’s 2012 Summer Concerts



Sponsored by the city’s community service council, this concert series is a mix of new bands and favorites from previous years. All concerts start at 7 p.m. and are held in the Main Bowery of Bountiful City Park (400 N. 200 West).



July 13 - Bountiful’s Got Talent

July 27 - Revolver, a Beatles cover band

Free Family Night Concert Series



Sponsored by Murphy’s Guitars, this series focuses on acoustic music. Mike Murphy, a singer/songwriter, has been known to draw performers from his large circle of musical contacts. All concerts start at 6:30 p.m. in the East Pavilion at Bountiful City Park.



July 9 - Muddy Gutter Boys (folk) and Miles to Go (bluegrass)

Concerts on the Hill



ponsored by the Farmington Oakridge Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, these concerts often feature performances by local Christian artists. The concerts are held every Friday and Saturday evening at 9 p.m. at Grant’s Gulch at Cherry Hill.

Sponsored by the Davis Arts Council, this series is designed to be ultra family-friendly and fun for all ages. All concerts start at 7 p.m. at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater in Layton.
