NORTH SALT LAKE — The Menlove name synonymous with South Davis for many years is back.

Menlove Rent 2 Own Auto recently opened its doors at 420 N. Redwood Road, North Salt Lake.

Dealership owner Wes Johnson was a part of that Menlove Toyota “last of the little guys” tradition, and is reinstituting the

Fresh Start program that was in place for more than 20 years, he told The Clipper. “It’s for the folks that have had credit issues, people who need transportation, need to establish or re-establish their credit,” he said.

The menlove.com web site notes such features as the possibility for zero percent interest, no credit check, and more. In the future, one customer per month will be selected to spend time with Johnson in one of his muscle cars.
