KAYSVILLE — The Davis High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams is considered to be among the best high school teams in the entire country.

However, that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t use a little bit of help.

Recently Dennis Bledsoe, and Allstate Insurance agent with an office in Farmington, earned an Allstate Foundation “Agency Hands in the Community” award for outstanding commitment to community service. The award is a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation, which was given to the Davis High School cross country team.

The Allstate Foundation program, which launched in 2003, recognizes an Allstate agents’ volunteering within the community and provides financial support to organizations through The Allstate Foundation. Every agent who volunteers for a charitable organization in his or her community may qualify for this award.
