Burningham, a first-time vendor, was selling an extensive variety of daylilies to those wandering among the booths Thursday.
Just across the way, Drew Bangerter of Bangerter Farms had an early harvest of sweet corn for sale, along with varieties of squash and beets.
Nearby, Julie Moon and Sheriden Hansen were offering eggs and home-grown garlic and providing information on Community Supported Agriculture.
Their business, Backyard Farmgals, provides organic produce throughout the season to those who purchase a small share in their East Layton farm.
There was more than produce at the market. Families could find dinners of Navajo tacos, hot dogs and burgers, or treats of shaved ice and scones.
Other vendors sold crafts or offered information.
