SOUTH WEBER С Open houses for a charter school opening in South Weber will take place next week, and a ribbon cutting ceremony will follow on Thursday, Aug. 23.
HighMark Charter School, a tuition-free school serving kindergarten through ninth grades, has been built for a student population of 580, drawing from Davis, Weber and Morgan counties.
The school will focus on technology and business education and open to students on Monday, Aug. 27.
Open houses are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 9 and Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the new campus, 2467 E. South Weber Drive in South Weber.
The ribbon cutting will take place Thursday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at the same location.
