Please join family and friends in wishing Rupert Gandy a very happy 80th birthday. Rupert moved to Bountiful in 1953 with his wife and family. The family has grown to 8 children, 33 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.

Rupert has met many people since moving to Bountiful, all of whom he calls his friends. He started out with a weight room in the shed, which seemed to be open to everyone in Bountiful. He plays baseball and basketball every chance he gets and received an award for playing in the Senior Games for 20 years.

Rupert has served in many positions in the LDS Church and is currently a volunteer at the Bountiful Temple, something he truly enjoys. From 2001-2003, he and his wife Marilyn served a mission in Winnipeg, Canada in a small town called Carry-the-Kettle.
