Saturday
- USU Botanical Center Farmers Market, 875 S. 50 West, Kaysville, 5-8 p.m.: Garden to Table. Get the facts on growing bountiful vegetables and delicious ways to prepare your harvest with recipes from the Food Sense program.
- WSU Davis will host Heart Healthy Eating, featuring a sticky chicken rice food demonstration as part of their “Nutrition on a Mission” workshop series, 6 p.m., WSU Davis second floor across from the bookstore (2750 N. - Pioneer Theatre Company proudly presents “In the Heights,” winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical and Best Score and finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. - Tri-County Independent Living Center Golf Tourney at Hubbard Golf Course, Hill AFB. $75/person, $300/team. Includes green fees, cart, range balls and lunch. - The Retiree Activities Office will host a Retiree Appreciation Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Landing (formerly known as Club Hill). The free event is held annually to provide resources and information for military retirees and their families. 801-777-5735 or email retact@hill.af.mil.
- Temple Square Concert Series, 7:30 p.m., Assembly Hall. Paul Cardall, world-renowned pianist known for his unique, heartfelt musical style and melodic compositions will perform.
