Davis 43, Weber 24

Gage Cook threw for two touchdowns and ran for one more as the Darts put up 22 first quarter points to easily claim the win. Trevor Leavitt and Taylor Avei were the recipients of both of Gage’s touchdown passes, and Davis’ four rushing touchdowns were scored by four different players including Cook, Parker Rose, Ashton Reinhold and Jonah White. The Darts will close out their regular season with a home date against Northridge.

Viewmont 35, West 0

The Vikings claimed their second consecutive Region 2 victory with a 35-0 drubbing over West and the Panthers. After scoring a single touchdown in the first quarter, Viewmont put its’ spread offense to work and tacked on 21 points to take a 28-0 lead before the first half ended. The Vikings scored another touchdown in the third quarter, and the defense picked up its first shutout of the season. Viewmont will host Kearns next Thursday for its final home game of the season.

Woods Cross 47, Clearfield 0

The Wildcats avenged last week’s loss to Highland by dismantling the Falcons on their home turf. Woods Cross scored 33 points before the first half ended, then tacked on two more touchdowns in the second half to end the game quickly. Sean Barton, Junior Vailolo, Filipo Mokofisi and the rest of the Wildcats attacked the Clearfield offense all night, picking up their second shutout this season. Woods Cross faces cross-town rival Bountiful next Friday, and Clearfield will face Cyprus on the road the same night.
