BOUNTIFUL — If you want to learn more about the possibility of streetcars coming to Bountiful, check out a public open house Tuesday, March 10, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Bountiful City Hall.

At 6 p.m., Bountiful mayor Joe Johnson will talk about his recent trip to Europe where he and other mayors and U TA officials visited and studied various cities’ streetcar systems.

The open house is also planned to discuss and show alignment options for the proposed South Davis Transit route with Bountiful.

For the past few years, Bountiful officials have been working with UTA and Utah Department of Transportation officials to evaluate transportation alternatives in South Davis.

For more information, call 298-6140.
